Agreement Signed for the Comoros 2027 Island Games Athletes' Village

Zhongchen International has successfully signed the agreement for Phase One of the Comoros 2027 Island Games Athletes' Village project, which includes the construction of 50 detached villas and associated infrastructure works.

The project will be delivered through the contractor's operating company in Comoros and forms part of the accommodation facilities planned for the 2027 Indian Ocean Island Games.

Phase One comprises the construction of 50 standalone villas, together with comprehensive building works including structural construction, interior fit-out, water supply and drainage systems, and electrical installations. The scope also covers supporting external works such as perimeter walls and gates, garages, leisure terraces, landscaping, and paved outdoor areas.

In addition, the project includes the completion of internal roads throughout the development and the connection of the site to municipal utility networks, ensuring the village is fully equipped to support athletes and event participants.

The Athletes' Village is a key component of Comoros' preparations for hosting the 2027 Indian Ocean Island Games and will contribute to the country's growing portfolio of sports and residential infrastructure. Once completed, the development is expected to enhance local accommodation capacity and provide a lasting legacy for future community and sporting use.

This project further reflects the continued investment in high-quality infrastructure across Comoros, supporting economic development and strengthening the country's readiness for major international events.
