Beijing, 21 July 2026 – Ahmed Younis Al Hosani, Chief Executive Officer of Mayan Properties, visited the headquarters of China Machinery Engineering Corporation (CMEC), where he was received by General Manager Fang Yanshui for discussions on ongoing project delivery and future areas of collaboration.
The meeting reviewed the progress of the partnership since the two companies first met in July 2025. Discussions focused on projects currently under construction in Mauritania, the Republic of the Congo (Congo-Brazzaville), and Chad, with both parties noting that implementation has remained stable and well-organized. They also highlighted the effectiveness of existing coordination mechanisms, which have contributed to the smooth advancement of project activities.
Mr. Fang expressed his appreciation for Mayan Properties' continued trust in CMEC as a project delivery partner. He reaffirmed CMEC's commitment to leveraging its local expertise, resources, and operational capabilities to ensure that all projects are completed on schedule and in accordance with agreed specifications.
Mr. Al Hosani welcomed the progress achieved to date and commended the strong cooperation between the two organizations. He also outlined his ambitions for expanding the partnership and expressed confidence in its long-term potential.
Building on their successful cooperation in existing markets, both sides agreed to deepen collaboration across a broad range of sectors, including building construction, municipal infrastructure, water projects, power facilities, and road development. They also discussed exploring new opportunities in additional African markets, drawing on their complementary strengths to achieve sustainable and mutually beneficial growth.
